Aloha! My name is Taylor Preza, also known as Tay. I was raised in Hawai`i and am currently living in Los Angeles, CA. After graduating with a BA in TVFM and a focus in Broadcast Journalism from Cal State LA, I currently work as a Digital Journalist/ News Assistant for ABC7 Eyewitness News in Glendale, CA. I also run a food vlog called So Taysty and am a Multimedia Producer for The Lunch Table.

I moved to Los Angeles in 2012 to attend Cal State Los Angeles with the dream of pursuing the media industry. At Cal State L.A., I worked for the University Times Newspaper. I took advantage of the opportunities I was surrounded by and delved into the school’s radio station, Golden Eagle Radio as a news reporter and worked my way becoming the program director. During this same time, I joined Her Campus, an online women’s magazine as the Social Media Director. During two summers, I flew back home to Hawai`i and interned for Hawaii News Now (CBS/NBC affiliate). It was in 2015 when I landed a job at the number 1 TV news station in Los Angeles.

I enjoy storytelling on a daily basis and I have a passion for bringing stories to life through informative and entertaining digital experiences across the globe. I have experience with digital marketing, social media, writing, shooting, editing, and as an on-camera talent. I have worked with TV, radio, print, and digital platforms.

I know what it takes to turn a what only seemed like a dream, into reality. And I’ll continue to do so with everyday that goes by in LA, one story at a time.
